We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable dining experience by providing attentive, personalized service to each guest.
- Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and dietary options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring proper communication with the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or special requests.
- Process payments and accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and refreshing supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless dining experience and support overall restaurant operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol service regulations is a plus.
